Captain Cory Gauron grew up on the ocean. His family has owned and operated a charter fishing business for 60 years. Cory started as a mate on board his family's boats and after 10 years became a captain.

       Cory ran Gaurons boat the "Starfish" on many fishing trips and whale watches for several years before running the "Northwind." Cory also has several years of experience fishing the Florida Keys.
 
       Cory has his 100 ton captains license issued by the U.S. Coast Guard and is certified in CPR/First AID.
